The RAM Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with 4'' Large Rubber Suction Base consists of the 1'' dia. ball and socket system with RAM Plastic Cradle for the Magellan Sportrak Series.

RAM-B-148-MA3U BASE DESIGN:
The large 4'' Rubber Suction Cup base has a 1.0'' diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles. The suction cup is designed to hold on any smooth non-porous surface, but for best result, mount the suction cup on a glass surface.

NOTE: Overtime the suction cup may become dirty, and not hold as well. If this happens, you will need to wash it in warm soapy water, and the mounting surface may need to be wiped with a cleaner (alcohol works best). Be sure to test a small area of the mounting surface before applying a cleaner as they can mark or discolor some materials (like plastic).

RAM-B-148-MA3U ARM DESIGN:
The Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Standard Length Double Socket Arm is 3.0'' long when measured between socket centers.

The RAM high strength plastic cradle is designed to hold the following GPS units,

PLACING YOUR GPS INTO THE CRADLE:
Place the top of the GPS into the cradle, and then push the base into the expandable 'arms' at the bottom of the cradle. The 'arms' will snap into place when the GPS is completely in the cradle.
