The RAM Marine Grade Aluminum Dash Mount consists of the 1'' dia. ball and socket system with RAM Universal 2.5'' diameter Plate and connection hardware. This mount is designed to be a universal mounting solution for both RAM and non-RAM designed products. The hole pattern found on the 2.5'' Plate will connect to a large variety of third party cradles and mounts.
RAM-B-101-G1U BASE DESIGN:
The Marine Grade Aluminum Universal Plate has a 1.0'' diameter Rubber Ball connected at right angles to a 2.5'' diameter Plate. The plate has pre-drilled holes in the base plate, including the universal AMPS hole pattern.
NOTE: This base plate will attach to any of the RAM plastic HOL holders, but generally the RAM-B-238 Diamond Plate is used.
RAM-B-101-G1U MOUNTING SOLUTIONS:
Mounting hardware is NOT included with the purchase of the RAM-B-202. A semi-permanent solution for mounting this base is by using the RAM double sided adhesive disk (RAM-202PSA). The disk will hold the RAM-B-202 base is many different locations without screws.

The Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Standard Length Double Socket Arm is 3.0'' long when measured between socket centers.

* The Garmin cradle for the GPSMAP 176/176C, GPSMAP 276C, GPSMAP 196 (only the cradle on the yoke mount) and GPSMAP 296 (only the cradle on the yoke mount) will connect to this RAM mount, by unscrewing the cradle from the mount. For an even stronger holding cradle, you can purchase the cradle manufactured by RAM (RAM-HOL-GA7).
CONNECTION HARDWARE INCLUDED:
The plate includes a set of four short and four long nuts and bolts to connect the plate to your required cradle.
