RAM Aluminum Magellan SporTrak Series Stainless Steel U-Bolt Mount

The RAM Marine Grade Aluminum Mount with Stainless Steel U-Bolt Rail Base consists of the 1'' dia. ball and socket system with RAM Plastic Cradle for the Magellan Sportrak Series.

RAM-B-149-MA3U BASE DESIGN:
The Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Rail Base has a 1.0'' diameter Rubber Ball designed to sit at right angles to the mounting rail. The Stainless Steel U-Bolt and nuts included will fit a circular rail with diameter from 1/2'' to 1.0''.

To mount the rail base, place the top of the base on the rail and then slide the u-bolt around the rail, into the holes in the base top. Now tighten the screws onto the u-bolt until the base is clamped firmly. If you desire, you can now slot the black plactice covers over the exposed ends of the u-bolt.

For a larger rail, you can purchase the RAM-B-231LSS Large Rail Base for circular rails with diameter from 1/2'' to 1 3/8''.

NOTE: This base is completly rust proof.

RAM-B-149-MA3U ARM DESIGN:
The Powder Coated Marine Grade Aluminum Standard Length Double Socket Arm is 3.0'' long when measured between socket centers.

The RAM high strength plastic cradle is designed to hold the following GPS units,

PLACING YOUR GPS INTO THE CRADLE:
Place the top of the GPS into the cradle, and then push the base into the expandable 'arms' at the bottom of the cradle. The 'arms' will snap into place when the GPS is completely in the cradle.
